A beautiful day in Totoralillo beach, Coquimbo, Chile.
We went to crags and we found a lot of wonderful shells, sea stars, and little fishes.
When we arrive to flat and wet sand I catched an artistic attack XD!, and I decided draw in sand :)
Here appears the tender Catita :) with her cute feet :).

I really had a nice time in Coquimbo (: . I hope come back there next year :).

I was thinking about what will I do after get mi grade of pharmaceutic, I thaught about study medicine, but I'm not sure about this because I think that have a close contatc with people produces me a bit of repulsion, I consider me little prejudiced, therefore I couldn't be a good physician.

Today I remembered when a friend told me about he finished his relationship with his girlfriend, they were together for two and a half year, moreover I taught on a six years engagement that at the end it finished. In that moments I'm scared about my relatonship with Carlos and a lot of hopes and expectations that we create.

Finally, I decided just enjoy the moment.....

This comment is going to be written in spanish due to the goal is teaching: Aqui les muestro un collage k espero k refleje parte de lo k es la homepatía, no todos los medicamentos hechos en base a especies vegetales son homeopáticos, es un tema largo de explicar pero intentaré mencionar los aspectos más importantes. Los productos homeopáticos son hechos en base a especies tanto vegetales como minerales y animales, como en este collage en que el veneno de la serpiente se utiliza como cura a las complicaciones de la menopausia como los típicos bochornos que afectan a las pacientes. Por otra parte un punto importante es k los productos homeopáticos le brindan al organismo sustancias que provocan la patología de modo k el organismo genera inmunidad y asi logra recuperarse. Además la homeopatía se caracteriza por utilizar los principios activos( sustancias que ejercen el efecto farmacológico, osea restaurar la salud) en concentraciones infinitesimales, a diferencia de los fitofármacos cuya concentración está dentro de las tradicionales. Here you can see a beautiful( at least to me) picture with my sister. It was taken by Ferni( my sister's boyfriend ) in "Los Valles de Miraflores in Curacaví.

We really had a great day, we eat delicious empanadas, meat, and vegetable salads. Moreover we play with own little cousins and had nice talking with "older" people.

On the other hand, I enjoy collecting flowers to my botanicals' task.

TASK4. Write an evaluation or criticism of a classmate's blogspot

My opinion is about Roberta's blogspot:

-The design blog is cool!, due to his wonderful green well mixed with white letters at the title area and also gray background with great waves at right side. As my friends know( and my blog can show it ), green is my favourite color. Further more, I like layout, I think personal information, blog folder and links look nice at right.

-There are few language mistakes( like me and every classmate could make it as well, which is normal in learning process), but despite it , she achieves communicate and it's possible understand which she write.

- I like her favourite web page, it helps me a lot to amuse myself during holidays. Moreover, it tells me true things about my personality, and so much the better, each esoteric speciality I asked, did it. I really enjoy to know more about the runas, biorhythm, chinese horoscope, numerology, between many others specialities.

-I really like her fauvorite song and I think her comment was great , because it was quite complete, covering whole band course and showing personal things like the way they know each other. Then , I could know more about this famous pop band , which plays nice and emotival songs.

- About advantages of use blogs to learn english, I don't agree with blogs can replace class, because I think both blogs and class, cover different and complementary english learning's issues.

Concluding, I consider this blog is quite interesting in both design and content , but obviously it depends on likings reader. About a bit more objectives subjects , it is understood the content, despite little language mistakes.

Polymers in Controlled Drug Delivery

Polymers are large molecules made of a lot of monomers ( small molecules) covalently bonded. These great molecules are used in controlled drug delivery, that is to say, polymer is combined with active agent, and the latter is released from the material in a predesegned way. This procedure has the goal of reaching better therapies, because it avoides probable both under and overdosis. In fact there is controlled drug delivery systems of long term administration, which allows blood drug level be constant(contrarily of traditional tablets or injections), between the desired maximum(above it there is toxicity) and minimum( under this drug doensn’t have effect).

Biomaterials used for delivery systems should be inert, biocompatible, mechanically strong, comfortable for the patient, safe from accidental releases, between others characteristics. Examples of these biomaterials are: polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinilpirrolidone and polysiloxanes. Each one has different properties like hydrophilicity , that is necessary to get soluble and finally release drug, insulating ability, which is useful in creams for repel water, suspension capabilities, etc.

On the other hand, it’s necessary degrade polymers after they release drug. Luckily, there are polymers designed to degrade inside body into biologically compatible molecules , which then are metabolized and removed. It’s necessary consider some important factors that affect biodegradation of polymers, that is to say, they may produce potentially non desirable molecules e.g. : configuration structure, molecular weight ditribution, sterilization process, mechanism of hydrolysis,etc.

There are different mechanisms of releasing, and they may happen together or only one of these is presented in a releasing system. They are : diffusion, degradation and swelling followed by diffusion.

There are two important releasing systems : matrix drug delivery system, where releasing rate decreases with time and reservoir device system, where drug delivery rate can remain constant.

An important polymer kind, are intelligent polymers, due to they release active agent only when they are placed in a suitable biological environment. These appropiate environments may occurs with a definite pH, temperature, ionic strength, etc.

There are significant application of polymers on diabetes disease and most of they are based on the reaction of blood glucose with glucose oxidase, which produces insulin releasing. In some cases glucose/glucose oxidase reaction reduces pH, and this can produce swelling of polymer, releasing insuline, in other cases, polymer-insulin matrix is sorrounded by a glucose oxidase layer, which reacts and produce insulin releasing in a definite pH. A current delivery system, made of “molecular gates” ,deliveres insulin in response to glucose at low pH.

Moreover, noninvasive glucose monitoring system has been designed. This system brings minute quantities of blood glucose to skin, where it’s possible measure blood glucose levels.

* Practice , correction and learning of grammar.

* Learning and practice of vocabulary.

* There is greater memorization of knowledge due to it was acquired for self-learning.

* People are able to give their opinion and correct your probably mistakes.

Disadvantages

* It doesn't have phonetic content

* It doesn't have people interaction. Therefore, it's not possible to practice communication and dialogue.

* It's not useful to learn popular expression, which aren't understood through a simple translation.

I really like a lot of kinds of music, but I think “ La Oreja de Van Gogh” style is my fauvorite music type and “Dulce Locura” my favourite song.

I think melody of this song is wonderful, high and rhythmic notes are heard at beginning, then Amaia Montero’s sweet, warm and sensual voice rings activating feelings of love sadness. Then an intense chorus appears, with a lot of tears expressed in a high tone.

In relation with the plot, this song shows a soul suffering due to his love left her because she made a mistake and she just want to get free from each one of memories of this love story, but at the same time, she doesn’t wish to forget it. It’s a dichotomy.

I feel identified with this song. Months ago, I had a beautiful relationship with a wonderful boy, but I decided to finish it, since I still don’t forget other guy, a stupid guy. Then, we began again our relationship( with the good boy) and finally he wanted to end it. I think if I hadn’t finished the first relationship, I would have be with him until now.

I guess this song belongs to Pop style music.

www.deviantart.com is an interesting website, because it has beautiful, artistic and creative pictures and photographies. I knew it by my sister, who loves it and uses to take pictures from this page and show it in her own fotolog.
This page has different picture categories , for example: "Animals, Plants and Nature", "Artisan Crafts", "Cartoons and Comics", etc. You can find whatever you think, due to this wide picture spectrum.
I really love "Nature" section, where wonderful, colorful and stranger flowers that I have seen appears. Moreover you can see some photographies taken from original angles, like picture in attached image. This page has artistic photographies as well. There are amazing flowers photographies, which has been modified, adding some light and zoom effects.
I visit this page as often as I can, it depends on time I have.

www.fotolog.com is another great site, one of my fauvorite pages, because I can to be able to have news about my friends, to know how they are and if they give some party =D!. I usually visit my fotolog on weekends.
Moreover, I use to make some changes on my pictures in Photoshop, which is quite amusing. Sometimes I upload my own drawings made in Paint , such as picture shown at right .( When I got my first P.C., I spend all the day making drawings in Paint. If I had time I would still do it).
Other positive aspect is that people can give their opinion about my drawings and then I can improve it. I have some architect friends that help me a lot with this.
I knew this website because my sister began with the colective "fashion" to have a fotolog, moreover a friend wanted I had my own fotolog, and he carried out to do it for me.( He wanted to have a big fauvorite friends list, due to this he insist on do it )

TASK 5- Rewiev of a Film-

This film is starred in by Sarah Michelle Gellar, the main character of “Buffy”, the famous vampire serial, which made her a renowned actress.

The plot tell us about a guy who threw him from his flat’s balcony, dying instantly.Then it’s shown a family looking for a place where to live , due to Matthew- Jennifer’s husband- had been sent to working in Japan, the place where the story happens. Finally, they choose a beautiful and roomy house, where strange things happens.Jennifer is the first in realize suspect things and she decides to investigating about it; sadly she is attacked by terrible soul of died child, which kills her and Matthew with a scaring shout.

Cast: Jason Behr, KaDee Strickland, William Mapother, Bill Pullman, Rosa Blasi, Clea Duvall, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Grace Zabriskie it’s shown Karen-Sarah Michelle Gellar-, a social service student, who belongs to Care Office, institution that makes social service.Due to Yoko, a nurse that carried out Emma care, doesn’t go to Care Office,

Karen was contacted to replace her. Karen was so excited with news, since this is the first time that she goes to looking after somebody. We are talking about Matthew’s mother, an old woman that spent the day sleeping, without eat and speak neither.

When Karen went to Emma’s house( the same where Jennifer, Matthew and his mother lived together), realizes, such as Jennifer, of mysterious happenings, for example a child shut in wardrobe. Once , Emma got “static” looking towards roof, then Karen, did the same and saw an horrible thing that was getting nearer and nearer and kills to old woman and affects seriously to Karen, who never came back to be the same after this.

To make shorter the story, I tell you that child and his mother( who at the end of film kills Karen’s boyfriend) were killed by the father and husband of them, because he discovers his wife fell in love of man who commited suicide at begining of film.

The subject that director wants to show is related with an ancient japanese legend called “The Grudge”, which tells that when somebody dies in a dramatic situation, the place where this occurs and each person that visits it, get cursed.

I think this film is quite interesting, since director approaches get us near from japanese culture, which is quite strange and unconnected with a lot of people.Moreover , this film shows excelent actors, they do a nice job, definitely they are credible.

On the other hand, there are things that I didn't like , for example, some grotesque scenes that show a woman without her mandible and dripping blood.
